A lakefront location at this campground is a must. The view is spectacular! Staff are friendly and helpful. Doing the laundry was a technical nightmare as you needed to download the app in order to pay for the washer and dryer. We could never get it to work and had to have a staff member come and use his app to be able to use the laundry. My husband paid the staff member who was very helpful. It was observed that another person had troubles getting to the 1 800 number when the washing machine didn’t work. If you can get the app to work, you have to download $10 onto the app. But if you only use five dollars, then what happens to the balance of your five dollars? Do you get to use it elsewhere at another campground? The system wasn’t very customer oriented. The bathrooms are clean, but regulating the shower water between scalding hot and ice cold was extremely difficult. When I finally had the water come out to a lukewarm, it was at a mere drizzle. Water temperature challenges happened to the lady in the next shower also, as well as my husband in the men’s washroom. Internet was reliable, but there is no cable. That was fine. This is our second time visiting this campground. We don’t remember these problems occurring before. Unfortunately, we probably won’t return. It’s too bad, as it’s a beautiful place.
Absolutely gorgeous RV park 5 miles next to the Meteor Crater. Great service and free coffee in the morning. Staff is very attentive and accommodating. Place is well kept and offers a great retreat from the road. Dog park was nice. bathrooms showers and laundry were kept in working order.
Although no real amenities, showers and laundry is all. It’s a nice place to stay. The staff are nice and helpful. Thomas was especially helpful, he went out of his way to help me with the laundry. He actually made my day so much better. Thank you Thomas!
Really enjoyed our overnight stay here. We rolled in just past office hours and someone came to help us and take us to our sight. She was really nice and helpful. Enjoyed a quiet night. Recommend this place if you're in the area.
Great space right on the River Mountain Loop Trail within Lake Mead NRA. Mixed RV sites and mobile homes. You can stay and play to include kayaking and raft trips below the Hoover Dam. It's definitely worth a visit. Very close to Boulder City, home of the Hoover Dam.
Love coming here. The views are spectacular and all the staff are so nice. Spaces are roomy. Could use so updating in the bathrooms but mini split is brand new and for the price still gets 5 stars from me.
Rude newish Camp hostess, I’ve been here for a week in my RV and used to own a trailer here in the park for 7 years. I watched her drive around and look for people to pick on. One family was outside their trailer in 105 degree heat hanging out next thing you know she’s there and they went inside. I’ve lost power twice since I’ve been here (breaker blew, but have never had that happen) came home to a 95 degree trailer. So I bought a generator for a backup and I was planning to move to the boulder beach campground tomorrow. I unboxed the generator, set it up and wanted to let it run for a while not under load. She’d been watching me the whole time. Then pulls up and act like she has to yell to talk to me (the generator is a quiet conversation level generator not loud) top rated **. Sir you can’t have generators here, really why? I don’t know you just can’t have them you can deal with the rangers if you want. LOL. Considering the integra 45’ motor home that parked one spot over from me had their diesel generator on nearly all night long. It didn’t bother me, I didn’t say a word. People are here to enjoy themselves, this place is a ghost town for another month until temps cool. I didn’t feel like I was causing anyone a distraction or disruption. She didn’t ask but I had no intention of running it more than like an hour to test it. Sucks can’t just let people be, I wasn’t causing any problems.
